3. Prohibited Activities

You must not use GrantDrafter to:

  • Misrepresent your organization, qualifications, or project details

  • Submit the same grant application to multiple funders when prohibited
  • Create applications for non-existent organizations or fraudulent purposes

3.2 Illegal Activities

You must not use GrantDrafter to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Engage in money laundering or other financial crimes
  • Support or promote illegal activities
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Violate export control or sanctions laws

3.3 Harmful Content

You must not create, upload, or share content that:

  • Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Contains explicit sexual content or child exploitation material
  • Harasses, threatens, or intimidates others
  • Spreads misinformation or disinformation
  • Violates the privacy rights of others

3.4 System Abuse

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape, data mine, or bulk download content
  • Deliberately introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile our software
  • Circumvent security measures or access controls
  • Overload our systems or interfere with service availability
  • Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or abuse free trials

3.5 Misuse of AI Features

You must not:

  • Submit prompts designed to manipulate or "jailbreak" AI systems
  • Use AI outputs without proper review and verification
  • Attempt to extract or replicate our AI models or prompts
  • Use the service to generate spam or automated content
  • Submit content intended to probe AI limitations or vulnerabilities

3.6 Unauthorized Commercial Use

You must not:

  • Resell or redistribute access to GrantDrafter
  • Use a single account for multiple organizations without authorization
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Use the service to compete with GrantDrafter

4. Responsible AI Use

When using GrantDrafter's AI features, you are responsible for:

  • Verification: Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Compliance: Ensuring AI-assisted applications comply with funder requirements
  • Disclosure: Following any funder policies regarding AI-assisted applications
  • Truthfulness: Ensuring all content, whether AI-assisted or not, is truthful and accurate
  • Originality: Maintaining originality and avoiding plagiarism

5. Content Monitoring

While we respect your privacy, we reserve the right to:

  • Monitor usage patterns to detect violations of this AUP
  • Investigate reports of prohibited activities
  • Access account information if required by law or to prevent harm
  • Use automated systems to detect abuse or policy violations

7. Enforcement

7.1 Violation Consequences

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning and request to cease prohibited activity
  • Temporary suspension of account access
  • Permanent termination of account without refund
  • Reporting to relevant authorities for illegal activities
  • Legal action to recover damages

7.2 Our Discretion

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether conduct violates this AUP. We may take action without prior notice if we believe it is necessary to protect our service, users, or comply with legal obligations.

8. No Liability for User Conduct

You are solely responsible for your use of GrantDrafter and any content you create or submit. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy or quality of grant applications you create
  • Whether your applications are successful or meet funder requirements
  • Any consequences resulting from your use of the service
  • Third-party claims arising from your content or conduct

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or best practices. We will notify you of material changes and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of GrantDrafter after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
